Celebrity Designer - Lauren Conrad's "Paper Crown"

Lauren Conrad is a reality show star, best selling author and fashion designer that has a new clothing line coming out called Paper Crown. It is set to hit stores this fall.

The clothes are all reminiscent of Conrad's personal style. They all look like something she would wear herself, which is refreshing for a celebrity clothing line. It is her next attempt at contemporary priced clothing after recently starting an inexpensive collection at Kohl's. Paper Crown features lots of basics such as leather shorts, silk blouses, oversized blazers, cocktail dresses, maxi dresses and mini, flouncy, belted dresses. All the clothes are very simple and wearable, so they are extremely versatile and timeless.

I am very impressed by Paper Crown and can't wait to see where these clothes will be sold!

Madewell is a women's clothing online and in-store retailer that has branched out from its sister company Jcrew. Madewell is known for selling breezy cardigans, lightweight knit t-shirts, vintage inspired jewelry, leather boots and most of all, a great pair of jeans. They are definitely the place to go for cool, comfortable basic shirts and sweaters as well as vintage detailed jackets and dresses. Their affordable price-point makes their clothing accessible to anyone.

Celebrity Inspired - Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon is easily one of today's fashion icons. Her style is classic, comfortable and always appropriate. She knows what is fashionable, how to dress for her body type and how to always dress for the situation. She knows how to make a statement and still look understated.

One of the best ways to dress for spring is to incorporate winter and summer pieces into one outfit. Reese does this flawlessly  by combining a dress that could be worn for summer and integrating it into spring by adding a leather jacket and boots. This is an easy style that anyone can accomplish by using pieces they have in their wardrobe from various seasons to make a new outfit that is appropriate for the cooler weather.
